Transition From Primary to Secondary School

Transition From Primary to Secondary School

Due to schools reopening, we are now able to give schools a choice between our ‘live’ online webinar or our in-house classroom seminar.
During the school closures, we successfully adapted our Sixth Class seminar to an online presentation, and can therefore offer a choice in presentation style.
The online webinar consists of two forty minute sessions via ZOOM.
The classroom experience is conducted over two hours.

Both courses are designed to help make the transition to secondary school a lot easier for the students.

A short course designed for Sixth Class students (Available March – June)

Half Day Seminar for Sixth Class students!

A short course designed to assist students with the Transition from Primary to Secondary School.
Outlines what to expect and gives these young students the tools to succeed.

Topics covered include:

  • How to take notes properly
  • Timetables – study & homework
  • Simple memory techniques
  • Our unique study method
  • What to expect in secondary school.

This seminar will help give your students a distinct advantage as they begin a new phase in their education!

The main purpose of this workshop is to increase the students’ confidence in their own ability to achieve!

We also offer a one hour talk for parents. This talk covers the main points dealt with in the student seminar and will enable the parents to help their children adjust to life in secondary school.

(SHARE THE COST FOR THE IN-HOUSE SEMINAR!
Some smaller schools have found it to be more cost effective to invite another primary school in the same are to share the booking. Schools would have to be close to each other to enable the one teacher to cover both groups).
